AAC offers a multimodal approach, allowing individuals to utilize a range of modes to communicate, including: Visual aids, gestures, writing, symbols, and electronic devices (i.e., communication tablets, computers, iPad, etc.).
AAC refers to the various devices, systems, strategies, and tools that support spoken language, enabling individuals with communication difficulties to express themselves effectively. These tools support people who struggle to convey their thoughts and ideas through verbal speech.
